Indian summer seems to continue for a bit and the pumpkin season is almost here. I went delicately around the pumpkins and its luscious leaves to get a glimpse of Jamnik church in the 8am haze. When I photograph, I try to be as loving to the nature as nature is to me. That means not hurting the plants and animals or littering. The nature tends to smile back!???? ♻️If you’re off to the wild, please be so kind to take the trash back home with you and dispose of it appropriately. Every little bit counts towards keeping our oxygen-giving surroundings fresh and clean!???? Have a green week ahead, darlings!????????????????‍♀️ . . . #mojaslovenija #ifeelslovenia #slovenija #slovenia???????? #slovenija #roamtocreate #beyondthelands_ #greenandsafe #nature_brilliance #nature_of_our_world #nature_fantastically #landscape_lover #colorsofnature #raw_foggy #rsa_rural #rsa_naturepics #greenearth #earth_pix #super_shots #visitslovenia #createdtocreate #nature_obsession #alpenglow #thealps #eslovenia #slowenien #ill_landscapes #visualsofearth #folkscenery #rural_love #ruralphotography . . . @earth_to_ana

Sveti Jošt above Kranj is just few minutes by car from the centre of Kranj, Slovenia ????????. St Judoc's Church was first mentioned in documents relating to the bequest of land by Emperor Otto II to the Bishop of Freising in 973. The earliest surviving part of the church is the gothic sanctuary in which frescos by Jernej of Loka dated to 1530 are preserved. The remainder of the church dates to the 18th century, when it was rebuilt in the Baroque style. The surrounding buildings were greatly damaged in the Second World War. The church used to be an important pilgrimage church, and is still a popular hiking destination. The main bell of the church was cast in 1834, weighs 1,344 kilograms (2,963 lb), and has a striking tone of d♭′. It was made from the bronze of Ottoman ships sunk in the Battle of Navarino (1827), which was bought by Anton Samassa in Trieste. It bears an inscription by the Slovene Romantic poet France Prešeren: "My bronze was found at the bottom of the sea, when the kingdom of Turkey was ended in Helade by Navarino. It was bought by a pilgrim; cast into a bell by Samassa, now I announce God's honour from St. Jodocus's embrasures." -------------------------------------------------- #sunafterrain #svetijost #visitkranj #catholicslovenia #churchonahill #churchmypassion #caszaizlet #sloveniaoutdoors #mojaslovenija #telephotography #landacape_lovers #discover_slovenia_in_pictures #igslovenija #gorenjska #europe_mypassion #shot_europe #église #afterrain #sunclouds #nasvetzaizlet #foggyscene #vagabondinslovenia #sloveniawonders #izletnadlani #vsezarazgled #jazpapojdem #weloveslovenia
