Triglav is the highest peak in the Julian Alps and has a symbolic meaning for Slovenia. There are many paths that lead to its peak, some of them more demanding and some with lower levels of difficulty. The north face of the mountain can be accessed through the valley of Vrata and is one of the mightiest rock faces in the entire Eastern Alps. The climb along the so-called Slovenian route in this rock face is suitable for any mountaineer, especially if they are accompanied by Marija and Andrej Štremfelj, the first married couple to stand together on the top the Himalayas. According to the UIAA difficulty scale, it has the degree II-III, the height of the rock face is 700 m. The ascent to Triglav is definitely a true mountaineering adventure and in the opinion of mountain guides its Slovenian climbing route is not so demanding so that any fit mountaineer can climb it easily.
