Flamma Stoneware Art

In the café of the Layer House, Turkish coffee is drunk from unique Flamma cups, made by David Almajer and Eva Berce, who have their studio on the upper floor of the house. There you can also take part in ceramic workshops lead by David. The handmade products are characterized by their usefulness and made of high quality materials, so they can be used every day. Stoneware is fire-resistant ceramics that is similar to porcelain. Displayed on shelves are imaginatively designed cups, bowls, teapots, plates, vases, baking dishes, spoons and also some jewellery. Each piece is born of a creative thought, the impressions of nature, life experience and a real contact with the Earth.
