This year (25 March), Kranj will be the scene of the 16th clean-up by volunteers, entitled “Let’s clean up Kranj – Kranj is no longer crappy!”
Organized by the Scouts Association of Kranj, it will begin at 9am on the town’s main square and will also have some entertainment programme. Until 12am, the square will be the meeting point of the clean-up teams and a vivid centre of the action.
We will be cleaning the garbage from all quarters of the town, the Kokra River canyon and the banks of the Sava River, as well as the surroundings of schools and kindergartens that have applied to be part of the action.
This event is a call to people to take better care of our town, its streets and squares, but above all its natural surroundings, including the Kokra River canyon. Everyone is invited to take part in the cleaning of our environment.
