The village of Jamnik is close to Kranj and very well known for its church of St. Primus and Felicianus. It has a stunning view from the grassy hill that it stands on, so some people even call it the balcony of the Gorenjska region. From here, one can see the Ljubljana Basin, the Karawanken Alps and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The motif with the church and the hills in the background has become an inspiration for many photographers to visit and take a picture of it, as it offers an image of nature that is picturesque and different in every season. This is why Jamnik has become a tourist attraction, well-known all around the world, and one of the most photographed locations in Slovenia.
