The outdoor swimming pool and the indoor Olympic swimming pool are the largest facilities for water sports in Slovenia. All swimming pools can accommodate 1180 swimmers. The spectators’ gallery of the large swimming pool has room for 1500 visitors.
The outdoor pool has a large swimming pool (50 x 25 m) and two children's pools. The swimming pool is open from 9 am to 10 pm each day from June to August.
The indoor area has a large swimming pool (50 x 25 m) and a small pool (16 x 8 m). This sports facility also includes a fitness centre, training areas for sports climbing and boxing, as well as offices of sports clubs. The sports complex is intended for school sports education, for trainings and competitions in swimming, water polo, water basketball and underwater hockey, for recreational swimming, medical programs for the rehabilitation of the injured and other specialized programs. There are also swimming schools, children's programs and diving courses.
