KRAFFT FILM FESTIVAL

The KRAFFT International Film Festival, taking place for the second time in Kranj this summer, will focus on the art of film acting and will cover various film genres. Its audiences will get the chance to see those among the latest films that are outstanding on a global scale. During the festival, well-known international film actors will visit the city to share, together with film experts, their stories and knowledge with us.
The festival will once again have a competition programme with Slovenian and international feature films, and the best actors will be awarded the Golden Apple film prize (zlata jabolka).
Film screenings will be followed by talks, which this year will mainly revolve around the theme of filming intimate scenes. In addition to the talks and panel discussions, the accompanying programme will also include exhibitions, workshops and social events.
KRAFFT aims to revive interest in Slovenian dance films. Special attention will be paid to the achievements of Slovenian actors and dance artists in the audiovisual field.
The KRAFFT Film Festival is aimed at all generations. Films for children and young people will be screened and talks and workshops for youngsters will be organised.
