Storžič is a mighty two-thousand-metre peak rising above the town of Kranj and standing out in its mountain scenery. It is part of Kamnik-Savinja Alps and its pointed peak has been climbed by many people from Kranj, as well as by any true mountaineer who visited the town. The most commonly used route to the peak is from Mače over Kališče and the eastern ridge of the mountain. A height difference of 1400 metres has to be overcome at this ascent, so you need to be quite fit physically. Your mountain guides, Marija and Andrej Štremfelj will make sure that you walk safely and hear many interesting stories.
