Kranj can be proud of its local winemaker Filip Koletnik who does not have his own vineyard or wine cellar, but this did not stop him in his desire to create wine. It is his philosophy that the best things are simple. Therefore a bunch of grapes is perfect in itself and it contains everything that is needed to create good wine that is rich in taste. This is why he wishes to have the least influence possible on the ripening process. The result of such philosophy is a wine of a lively, golden yellow colour, with complex scent, strong , mineral notes, a rich body and a long-lasting taste. Atimo wines ripen in the region of Goriška Brda and in Croatian Istria.
