Today, helped by mother Elica, one of the most famous inns in this part of Slovenia is run by their two sons, Kri\u0161tof and Toma\u017e.<\/h3><p>Decades ago, their focus was on international trends and ingredients, but then a turning point happened \u2013 they started to look to tradition, working closely with local suppliers. They offer their guests old recipes in a new way and fill their glasses with Slovenian drinks. A new step forward happened a few years ago, when the new <strong>chef, Uro\u0161 Gorjanc<\/strong>, took the helm.<\/p><blockquote><p>Gostilna Kri\u0161tof was awarded <strong>three chef\u2019s hats<\/strong> by the <strong>The Gault &amp; Millau Slovenia 2026<\/strong> Culinary Guide.<\/p><\/blockquote><p>Gostilna Kri\u0161tof received a <strong>Michelin Green Star<\/strong> and a <strong>Michelin recommendation<\/strong> in 2025. The same year, it was awarded three chef\u2019s hats by The Gault &amp; Millau Slovenia 2022 Culinary Guide, and the Kri\u0161tof team was awarded three forks by the Falstaff restaurant guide (2024).<\/p><p>Kri\u0161tof is a growing story, as Ne\u017eka\u2019s house right next to the restaurant occasionally hosts culinary gatherings. In the garden of Ne\u017eka\u2019s house there is a tavern for two, and a new bakery run by young Andra\u017e Baj\u017eelj.
