Last weekend, Slovenia experienced the worst floods in the country’s history. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this natural disaster.
Kranj was fortunate and, for the most part, we escaped with a much milder impact than many parts of the country. Kranj remains a safe and welcoming destination for all visitors and tourists.
The town and countryside can be accessed by car or public transport, although it should be noted that the latter might have some delays. All shops, restaurants, attractions, museums, accommodation, pharmacies and other infrastructure are open and running smoothly.
Although Kranj was spared the worst of the floods, please take care and stay informed about the current situation when exploring our city and the surrounding area.
