Fragmenti is a private organisation promoting culture, natural and cultural heritage, and meaningful living.
For five years now, they have been operating on Prešeren Street, where their unique model—an antique bookshop by day and a venue by night or as needed—has made them an important hub and space for connecting local actors and creators.
This well-organised antique bookshop can be rented by other organisations for festivals and events (themed reading boxes), for creating ideas and for accompanying programmes, so it regularly contributes to the city’s vibrant cultural scene. They are passionate about books and the circular economy, and every purchase there supports events that are mostly free for visitors.
Every month, they organize jams and other musical improvisations, concerts, workshops, clothing exchanges, discussion evenings, theater performances, film viewings and many other events. Everything they create throughout the year culminates in a fifteen-day street festival during the summer, celebrating creativity and culture.
