Kranj City Library

In 2011, the library moved to the Globus building, a former department store. For their needs, the premises had to be rebuilt and a new glass façade was combined with the original weathering steel panels, thus creating one of the most beautiful Slovenian libraries.

Not only the exterior, but also the interior of the municipal library is extraordinary. From the ground floor to the second floor, the spaces are well thought out and organized according to the activity to which they are dedicated. The book collection is wide and suitable for all ages, but there is also a large number of films and lots of music. In addition to all this, a variety of cultural and educational events take place here.
