Auditorium in medieval walls

The summer stage within the ancient walls of the Khislstein castle is an auditorium for concerts and theatre shows. It has the form of an amphitheatre and touches the medieval town walls on one side. Various concerts, theatre performances and other spectacles take place here and they bring more variety and diversity to the summer in Kranj.

This year as well, the stage will be hosting very different musicians from Slovenia and abroad. Inner Circle is a Grammy-winning band of five musicians from Jamaica that will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. It will also be the first time that the audience of this auditorium will have the chance to enjoy the opera arias from Rigoletto and to hear the outstanding voice and interpretation of Manca Izmajlova. The rockers Big Foot Mama will be presenting their latest record. Musical Mamma Mia will bring more joy to the summer nights.
