At the beginning of the 20th century, it was considered to be “the most magnificent and impressive water supply buildings in all of Austria”. Today it is an important cultural monument because of its authenticity, historical significance, age and technical qualities, its state of preservation and also because of the criteria of authorship and artistic value.
Even today, the water tower serves its purpose and on special occasions, you can visit it and climb the stairs to the top.
