The waterfall on the slope of the Ledinski vrh freezes over almost every year due to exactly the right amounts of water and the cool shadow of Ravenska Kočna. Slovenian mountaineers first climbed it in 1981 when they became enthusiastic about this new trend as they were preparing for their expedition to the southern rock face of the Himalayan mountain of Lhotse – the fourth highest mountain in the world. In combination with the upper waterfall, this climb is already a serious tour through the wild nature of the Alps.
