This is a small and cozy bookstore that opened its doors in the Mahlerca Gallery toward the end of 2025. This ground-floor space in the Layer House used to be a gallery; today, it serves as an intimate hub bringing together lovers of literature, music and local creativity.
Here you’ll find carefully curated books (primarily) from Slovenian publishers, vinyl records, and urban souvenirs of Kranj, as well as unique products and publications from smaller independent presses.
The space, with its vintage vibe, allows visitors to chat, browse the shelves and immerse themselves in reading or music. In short: a cozy spot where quality literature is at home, fostering local reading culture and connecting authors, creators and the public.
