The route around the outer boundary of the Brdo castle and park is slightly less than ten kilometres long and it has already become a popular meeting place for runners from the wider area around Kranj.
The gravel road is closed to vehicles, so it is safe and healthy to walk or run here. The idyllic path offers a wonderful view of the Alps and you can often admire the deer grazing in the park on the other side of the fence.

The track is very popular. It provides all the comfort that runners need. A large parking lot is nearby and there is warm-up equipment outdoors that both runners and walkers like to use for stretching before or after taking the route around the Brdo park.
