Classic guided tour of Kranj

The old town was built on a rock above the confluence of the rivers Sava and Kokra and is now entirely protected as a historic monument.

Since ancient times, Kranj has been known as the regional centre of business and industry, trade, education and traffic.Become familiar with the charming centre by listening to stories told by experienced tour guides who will walk with you through a town where tradition and culture feel at home.

On every step in the historic centre, one can feel the sympathy towards art. Follow the footsteps of the great poet France Prešeren, get to know the important sights, discover the stories of the townspeople and admire the decorated façades of the old houses.

Behind the ancient town walls, in the former defence towers and houses of bourgeois families, a lively art scene now thrives with many get-togethers for culture enthusiasts and foodies. Let Kranj find a place in your heart!
