Bled is an image of paradise, as our poet once wrote. This world-class tourist destination on the edge of the Triglav National Park was among the nominees for seven new wonders of the world.
This is probably one of the most beautiful cycling routes in the “Flower of Kranj”! From the centre of Kranj you first head towards the hill of Jamnik. After a few kilometres of ascent through Besnica, at the top of Jamnik, a view of the Karawanken and Kamnik Alps awaits you. Then you cycle downhill to Kropa, the centre of artistic blacksmithing since the 14th century. After that, continue to Lancovo, the confluence of the Sava Dolinka and Sava Bohinjka rivers, then cycle uphill to Bodešče and, enjoying unique views on this road, reach Bled, one of the most popular tourist spots in the world. Cycle around the entire shore of Lake Bled, then turn towards Koritno and continue to Radovljica and its old town, Linhart Square. Return to Lancovo, where you turn towards Podnart and cycle back to Kranj through Naklo.
