Fine Cuisine in and around Kranj (9 – 25 May 2025)
You can’t miss this long-established inn in Senično, as it stands right next to the main road. Known for its good local food, friendly service and hospitality, the Gostilna pri Bajdu is a popular stop for visitors from abroad who would like to try the flavours of the Gorenjska region, as well as for locals who appreciate authentic feeling of home.
The restaurant has been in the hands of the Ribnikar family since its beginnings in 1871. Now in its fourth generation.

Guests who make a reservation for Fine Cuisine in and around Kranj will be welcomed at Bajdo between 13 and 16 May, 20 and 23 May and 27 and 29 May. On these days, the menu below will be served at 14:00 and 20:00. Reservations are required.
→ Hot starter: polenta roulade with spinach, Carniolan sausage and hollandaise sauce
→ Main course: leg of wild boar or leg of roe deer with potato štruklji rolls with chives and fresh vegetables
→ Salad: seasonal salad from the fields of Križe
