PR’ KONČOVC
Fine Cuisine in and around Kranj (9 – 25 May 2025)
This restaurant dates back to 1907 and has been registered as a holiday farm since 1992. With the help of his mother Fani, the farm is run by Aleš and Katarina Kristan. Most of the ingredients offered to their guests are produced or processed by the family themselves.
In 2021, they were awarded the Green Key environmental certificate, and a year later the Slovenia Green Cuisine sustainability label. They have a POP recommendation in the Gault & Millau culinary guide and a heart rating from Vivi.
Menu (9 – 25 May 2025):
→ Cold starter: Dolinar’s asparagus with Podjed curd cheese
→ Main course: stuffed pork tenderloin and spelt risotto with vegetables
→ Dessert: “gibanica” style strudels with house-made ice cream
→ Menu price: 29 EUR
→ Additional option (extra charge): nettle soup with buckwheat porridge (€4)
→ Local ingredients: asparagus by Dolinar (Dorfarje), dairy products by the Podjed Dairy (Olševek), meat products from Krakovc Farm (Šenčur), flour and buckwheat from Maršet’s mill (Vodice), apples from the Markuta farm (Čadovlje) and nettles picked in the vicinity of our homestead, walnuts are also home-grown.
