Fine Cuisine in and around Kranj (9 – 25 May 2025)
16 years ago, Mojca and Damjan Štefe took over this restaurant: he runs the kitchen while she manages the service. Just a few metres from the road that goes uphill to Ljubelj, this popular restaurant is filled with warm flavours of home. Breads are baked here, main dishes are prepared and house-made desserts are served.
Karavla 297 also has a few accommodation units and a picnic area next to the restaurant. The Gault & Millau Slovenia restaurant guide has awarded it the POP label.

→ For starters: barley risotto with Carniolan sausage and asparagus
→ Main course: trout roll in chive sauce with selected vegetables and sweet potato chips
